Coppery, cranberry hues (reminiscent of Gucci’s fall runway) are perfect to try this season for anyone in their 20s. Although this trend might seem a bit tricky to pull off, it’s an ideal trend to try in your 20s when you can get away with edgier looks.

    Glow tip:
To steer clear of red, irritated-looking eyes, choose a darker cranberry hue and blend only a tiny amount unto the lids. Be sure to line your eyes with a black liner and add some mascara to make sure your eyes stay defined and on-trend. Don’t forget to prime the lid prior to application to avoid any creasing!

In your 30s, neutral, earthy tones are great for adding a bit of definition to your eyes without aging you. Keep the rest of your look clean and accent natural features such as brows and cheeks. This looks is also perfect to take your look from the office to happy hour with a bit of dark brown shadow smudged into the lash line.

Glow tip: To keep your look fresh and natural, use a light wash of champagne eye shadow all over the lid. To add a bit more definition, apply a light matte brown shadow into the crease of the eye. Then, play up your cheeks with a natural warm flush.

From Alexander Wang to John Galliano, the grey eye shadow trend has been popping up all over the fall runways. But to keep it less-severe looking as seen at shows, nix the eyebrow-grazing grey shadow and instead keep your grey shadow to the outer corner of the eye.

Glow tip: To make the eyes stand out, apply a shimmery light champagne colour to the inner corner of the eye and blend it into the deeper grey tones.

Deep violets are extremely flattering for more mature skins as it adds warmth and makes the whites of your eyes appear a bit brighter. But to pull off this look and make it wearable, keep the eye shadow closer to the lash line of the eye and blend upwards.

Glow tip: Line your upper lash line with a creamy dark violet eye pencil. Then, using a lighter violet shade, blend the eye shadow on top of the eye pencil softly up to the crease.
