If we had to choose the ultimate style for the summer, it’s wavy hair. We love how versatile the style is and can be worn in different ways. From Suki Waterhouse’s “lived-in” locks to Gisele Bündchen’s polished body waves, here are five different ways to rock a wavy mane this summer.

    ROSE BRYNE
We’re all about these beachy waves that Rose Bryne rocked recently. Whether you have long tresses or a lob, this style flatters every hair length and will be your go-to summer ’do.

STYLING TIP: A texturizing beach spray will be your best friend for this look. Spritz liberally on to damp hair and blow dry strands with a diffuser attachment.

    LILY ALDRIDGE
Defined waves instantly make you look pulled together and chic. For wavy tresses like Lily Aldridge, use a 1” clamp-less waving iron and focus on the mid-lengths to ends of hair for a more natural look.

    STYLING TIP:
Look out for a styling wand with interchangeable barrels so you can easily control the look of your waves.

    SUKI WATERHOUSE
This style is perfect for spending the weekends in boyfriend jeans. Suki Waterhouse shows us just how to pull off the chic woke-up-like-this look with her tousled locks.

STYLING TIP: To add a bit of an “undone” feel to your look, warm up a bit of texturizing pomade in between your palms and gently scrunch sections of hair to get that “lived-in” effect.

    OLIVIA MUNN
With her glossy, natural looking waves, Olivia shows us just how to pull off waves for nighttime. We love how this style looks totally effortless yet appropriate for a night out.

    STYLING TIP:
For uncomplicated waves, play up your hair’s natural texture with a curl boosting spray. Work into damp locks and twist sections of hair while you blow dry for subtle texture.

    GISELE BÜNDCHEN
We’ve got hair envy when it comes to Gisele’s signature wavy mane. We love these polished body waves that she wore recently.

STYLING TIP: Taking one inch sections, use a larger barrel iron to create body waves away from the face. For a more glam look, brush through your curls once after they’ve set to get that “Old Hollywood” feel.
