why I stopped getting eyelash extensions

If I had to pick a ride or die makeup product it would definitely be mascara. But mascara and I didn’t always have this strong relationship. Believe it or not, I hated applying mascara. Because of my lack of patience and my short lashes, applying mascara left my lids really, really messy, leaving me super frustrated.

After some research and tons of “likes” on Kendall Jenner’s Instagram, I decided to book my very first eyelash extensions appointment.

The photo that started it all.

I loved my extensions! I desperately wanted to keep the fullness of my lashes, so I went for bi-weekly refills; which then turned into weekly refills (individual extensions naturally fall off after a week).

As the weeks went on, my upper lash line started to get irritated and itchy, so I had to take a break from the extensions. During that break period, I noticed that my natural lashes snapped off with the extensions; literally leaving me with eleven to thirteen visible lashes on each eyelid. (Yes – I did cry.)

It’s been nine months since I’ve quit the eyelash extensions and I’m happy to say that my lashes are healthy and fuller than ever. How? It took many months of patience and I had a lot of help thanks to Stimulash Fusion Intensive Nigh Conditioning Lash Enhancer. Every night after carefully removing my eye makeup, I apply the lash enchanter on to my upper lash line (just as you would a liquid liner).

I snagged this baby just a few months ago and I’m still amazed at how it sped up the growth of my lashes.
